The Osseo Senior High School - Osseo, MN Orioles continued their recent domination on the football field against Maple Grove Senior High School - Maple Grove, MN with a 22-15 victory in the season opener Aug. 22 for both teams. The win marked the eighth victory in the past nine games for the Orioles.
Prince Kruah (22) ran for 157 yards and a touchdown in the Orioles 22-15 win

The Osseo offense was led by a trio of seniors. Running back Prince Kruah finished with 157 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Malik Gaillard battled windy conditions to connect with Damario Armstrong on a 21-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter that proved to be the difference in the game.

"I think Malik's a heck of a quarterback too." said Osseo Head Coach Derrin Lamker. "He showed it today, he can throw in the wind."
While the Orioles offense was firing, it was the defense that stole the show. Osseo held the Crimson offense in check and held Maple Grove running back Isaac Collins to just 78 yards on the ground.

Osseo (1-0) travels to Andover for a week two match up against the Huskies. Maple Grove (0-1) will host the Hopkins Royals.
