Maple Grove Police Ask for Public’s Help After SA Robbery

The Maple Grove Police Department is looking for the public's assistance following an early September robbery at a Maple Grove business.

At approximately 1:43 p.m. Sept. 6, the Maple Grove Police Department received a report of a robbery at Super America, located at 9363 Upland Lane North, according to a Maple Grove Police Department press release.  A lone black male entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money from the registers, according the press release from police which went on to state “he is described as being approximately 5’ 7”, with a goatee; and wearing dark sunglasses, a Minnesota Twins baseball hat, and a blue and grey colored windbreaker style jacket.”

As of Sept. 22, Maple Grove Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual. 

Community members with information about the individual or incident are asked to contact Maple Grove Police Detective  Laurel Slawson at 763-494-6189.
