The Maple Grove Farmers Market is a resource for healthy, active lifestyles at any age. Senior citizens are invited to enjoy an array of special activities and entertainment at the Maple Grove Farmers Market each Thursday in September.
The Maple Grove Farmers Market is 3-7 p.m. each Thursday throughout September in the parking at the Maple Grove Community Center
Senior September events and promotions are made possible by SilverCreek on Main of Maple Grove. On Sept. 24, BZ Girls will provide live music. Seating is limited, so shoppers are invited to bring a lawn chair if they wish to sit to enjoy the performances.
SilverCreek on Main culinary staff members will lead a special chef demonstration on 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 with information and market prize drawings. Throughout the month, shoppers are invited to pick up free “cooking for one or two” recipes at the market info booth, designed especially for those cooking for smaller households.
“We’re so grateful for our loyal senior
shoppers,” said Market Manager Kirsten Bansen Weigle. “September is a wonderful
