Meet the Maple Grove City Administrator Finalists

The City of Maple Grove is hosting an open house from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5 as an opportunity to meet the three finalists for the Maple Grove City Administrator position.

The finalists include, according to the city of Maple Grove website, are:

  • David Hemze, County Administrator for Carver County
  • Dean Lotter, City Manager of New Brighton
  • Heidi Nelson, City Manager of Wayzata

Current Maple Grove City Administrator Al Madsen announced earlier this year his plan to retire on Oct. 30.

The Oct. 5 open house is scheduled to be in the EOC, located in the lower level of the Maple Grove Government Center, 12800 Arbor Lakes Parkway.

Finalist interviews before the Maple Grove City Council are scheduled to begin 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 the Government Center in the mayor’s conference room.

A new city administrator is expected to be decided by the end of October.
