Sep 29, 2015 07:46PM ● By Wendy Erlien

Beginning Thursday, Oct.1, the Maple Grove Farmers Market will close one hour earlier at 6 p.m. each Thursday due to earlier sunsets.

Outdoor markets will continue 3-6 p.m. each Thursday through Oct. 22 with more than 40 growers and vendors offering locally grown seasonal produce, farmstead meats, artisan breads and a wide variety of specialty products outside the Maple Grove Community Center.

The market has attracted more than 29,000 adult shoppers to date during the outdoor market season, including over 800 kids signing up for the free Power of Produce Kids’ Club.

Indoor markets are planned throughout the winter months, beginning on Thursday, Nov. 5. The indoor market takes place inside the Maple Grove Community Center from 3-6 p.m. on select Thursday afternoons when 25 vendors will offer local produce, farmstead goods, and specialty foods.
