Oct 09, 2015 11:43PM ● By Doug Erlien

Senior running back Isaac Collins (3) looks for running room against Shakopee.

The Maple Grove Crimson football team finished their regular season with a 28-0 win over Shakopee on senior night Friday, Oct 9.  Senior running back Isaac Collins ran for two touchdowns, and junior quarterback Brad Davison threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the Crimson finished the regular season with a 6-2 record.

"I think where we came from week one, we improved so much as a team from that week," said Head Coach Matt Lombardi. "I don't think anyone that saw us would have thought we would have gone six and one, but it was just fun to watch them week by week believe more and more and start to play with a little swagger. We're looking forward to the playoffs."
