Osseo Football Finishes Strong in 48-21 Win

Recap: Osseo Senior High School finished with a fury in their 48-21 victory over White Bear Lake High School in the opening round of the 2015 playoffs Friday, Oct. 16.  After falling behind 7-0 in the second quarter, the Osseo offense kicked into gear as Quarterback Malik Gaillard found senior Wide Receiver Damario Armstrong for a pair of touchdowns. The first came on a 15-yard fade route, the second came a little more than a minute later after the Orioles defense intercepted the Bears. Senior Running Back Prince Kruah finished the game with 254 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

Key Moment: With the score tied at the midway point of the third quarter, the Orioles scored four unanswered touchdowns to pull away including two fourth quarter scores 11 seconds apart.

Key Player: Armstrong finished the game with four touchdowns and an interception in the end zone.

Up Next: The (2) Orioles will play host to the (6) Hopkins Royals
