Osseo running back Prince Kruah runs for a 68 yard touchdown in the second quarter against Hopkins

The second seeded Osseo Senior High School Football team punched their ticket to the state tournament Friday night, defeating the Hopkins High School Royals 56-34.

Osseo picked up a huge game from running back Prince Kruah who carried the ball 45 times for 364 yards and four touchdowns.

After trading touchdowns early in the game, Kruah ran off the right side of the offensive line and scampered 68-yards to give the Orioles a 14-6 lead. Osseo never looked back as they recovered the ensuing onside kick and turned it into a touchdown.

Leading 21-14 at the half, the teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter before Osseo ran away in the fourth quarter taking advantage of Hopkins turnovers and outscoring the Royals 28-13.

The Orioles will face No. 1 seed Lakeville North High School (9-1) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Eden Prairie High School.
