Kiddiegarten PUD Development Stage Plan Moves Forward

- Submission of an updated landscape plan “showing no more than 20% of a single species and subject to any comments from the Arbor Committee. Also adding additional trees or moving trees to the west side of the property adjacent to the residential area.”
- Revision of the grading and drainage system and plans to city’s approval.
- Submission of revised utility plan.
- Temporary curbing installed where first phase parking area.
The resolution was unanimously passed by the Maple Grove City Council on the consent agenda at their Monday, Dec. 6 meeting.
The second-phase of the proposed project, a 9,000 square foot commercial building, requires a separate PUD –Development Stage Plan.
The proposed building for the new child care center would serve children from six weeks to prekindergarten – with a capacity to serve approximately 138 children. According to an August 2015 project narrative, Kiddiegarten is hoping to be open for operation June 1, 2016. Approximately 30 full-time equivalent staff members are anticipated to be employed by the business.
