Maple Grove's Autumn Mliner scores against Spring Lake Park

Girls Basketball
Maple Grove 65 Spring Lake Park 47
The Crimson upped their record to 6-5 Thursday night with a 65-47 victory over Spring Lake Park. Senior Maddie Tharp led 
Maple Grove with 15 points while Mackenzie Barta and Kylie Binstock added 13 each. Sophomore Autumn Mlinar added 12 in the win. The Crimson host Armstrong Tuesday night and then travel to Osseo to battle the Orioles Friday.

Note: Mackenzie Barta is 77 points away from 1,000 in her career.

Osseo 64 Champlin Park 40
The Orioles held the Rebels to just 13 points in the first half and cruised to a 24 point victory. Led by Kiara Russell and Mikayla Homola with 15 points each. Azaria Reed added 11 for 
Osseo who will face Moorhead on Saturday afternoon.

Boys Basketball 
Maple Grove 85 Spring Lake Park 56
The Crimson boys continue to roll. Junior Brad Davison scored 22 to pace the Crimson attack. Taron Pickford and Jack Hutchinson added 12 while Reed Nikko scored 11 for the 10-1 Crimson who are back in action Friday night as they host Moorhead.

Osseo 77 Champlin Park 64
Osseo remained undefeated Thursday night as they defeated Champlin Park to climb to 12-0. Senior Kameron Bettie led the way with 26 while sophomore Zach Theisen added 20. The Orioles face Moorhead Saturday afternoon.

Boys Hockey
Maple Grove 4 Anoka 2
The Crimson picked up three third period goals and defeated Anoka 4-2 Thursday night. Hunter House scored a pair of goals to lead Maple Grove. The Crimson host rival Blaine Saturday at the Maple Grove Community Center.

Osseo 5 Armstrong/Cooper 3
Anthony Fetzek tallied a hat trick for the Orioles, including a pair in the first period as the Orioles defeated Armstrong Cooper 5-3 at Dick Vraa Memorial Ice Arena. The Orioles host Irondale Saturday at 7PM.
