Don Pablo's restaurant closed at the end of January in Maple Grove.

Longtime Maple Grove business Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen closed at the end of January at its location on 7887 Elm Creek Boulevard.

The restaurant did not respond to a request for comment about the reason for the closure.

Two locations remain in Minnesota, Richfield and Eden Prairie.

As of the beginning of February 2016, the city of Maple Grove Community Development Director Dick Edwards indicated there was no indication the site has been purchased. As of mid-February, a sign is posted by Cloutier Properties states “space available.”

Hennepin County property tax records state the property was purchased by the Arbor Lakes Property Group LLC in August 2012 for $2.225 million. “The single-story, 3,696-square-foot restaurant building was built in 1998,” according to a CoStar Group report in 2012, which stated property was formerly owned by Elm Creek Investments LLC.

The estimated market value, according to Hennepin County property tax records, is $1.917 million.

Additional information will be updated as it becomes available
