Osseo Senior High School Assistant Tennis Coach Brian Rusche recently earned certification as a member of the Professional Tennis Association.

Rusche received the certification after an examination of tennis operations management skills, tennis-teaching and playing skills, stroke analysis, lesson demonstrations, and written exam.

"This is a great achievement by Brian," Osseo Senior High’s Activities Director Bill Quan said. "By attaining the USPTA certification, not only has he demonstrated his tennis-teaching ability at the highest level, but also his commitment to being a high quality coach and improving himself for the benefit of our students."

Starting in June, Rusche will direct the Orioles Tennis Academy offered through Maple Grove Parks and Recreation for tennis players who will be entering six to 12th grade in the fall of 2016.
