Web Surfers, Runners From Taxi Fare: MGPD Incident Report

The following is a synopsis of several incidents responded to by the Maple Grove Police Department  for the week of June 19-25, 2016. Additional details for burglaries, robbery, arson and theft can be found on the city website mapping section.

Information provided by Maple Grove Police Department

June 19

  • 10000 block of 98th Avenue. Report of items stolen from unlocked vehicle; no suspects at this time.
  • 9100 block of Yucca Lane. Report of persons mailbox stolen; it is unknown if there was mail inside the box. No suspects at this time.
  • 17000 block of 64th Place. Report of glass damaged on a basketball hoop. No suspects at this time.

June 20
  • 6300 block of Eagle Lake Drive. Report of person having chest pains; on arrival officers assisted with transport to hospital.
June 21
  • 7000 block of Terraceview Lane. Report of person having chest pains; on arrival officers assisted with transport to hospital.
  • 7000 block of Fish Lake Road. Report of bike stolen from the area; no suspects at this time.
  • 6000 block of Vicksburg Lane. Report of persons taking taxi and not paying; officers located two suspects, who paid the taxi fare. No charges.
June 22
  • 9000 block of Garland Lane. Report of person unconscious; on arrival person conscious and alert, transported to hospital by ambulance.
  • 7000 block of Kilmer Lane. Report of person who had fallen; on arrival with paramedics, officers assisted with transport to hospital.
  • 15000 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of person standing by the school late at night; officers made contact with person who was using the WiFi from the building. Person asked to leave.
June 23

  • 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of person who had fallen off ladder; on arrival officers assisted paramedics loading person into ambulance for transport.
  • 13000 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of person that filled their gas tank and drove off without paying; case is being investigated.

June 24
  • 9000 block of Zanzibar Lane. Report of person having chest pains and difficulty breathing; on arrival provided oxygen and assisted paramedics for transport.
  • 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of person who had fallen; on arrival person confused and disorientated. Officer provided medical aid until paramedics arrived for transport.
  • 9000 block of Fernbrook Lane. Report of vehicle parked behind building; officers made contact with an uncooperative person who was reading on their IPad. Told to leave area.
June 25
  • 6000 block of Dallas Lane. Report of items being taken from unlocked vehicle; no suspects at this time. 
  • 13000 block of Grove Drive. Report of person who had fallen and was unconscious on arrival person conscious. Officers cleared by paramedics person transported to hospital.
