“We have always believed that our law enforcement that serve our communities have been underappreciated,” Director of Advertising and Marketing at Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon Velinda Nienow said. “They risk their lives every day to make our community safe for our families. They are there for us every time you call them and that truly means so much to us. That is why we want to be there for them in a time of need.”
Events include games for adults and children, a scorching hot wing eating contest, face painting, fire and police car tours. There will also be a silent auction including sports event tickets as well as a ticket drawing for prizes during the event.
Since beginning in 2010, the event has raised over $125,000. Organizers have a goal of raising a total of $50,000 at their five locations (Maple Grove, Blaine, Woodbury, Apple Valley and Rochester) in 2016.
