With the first game of the season just days away, the Maple Grove football team hosted a four team scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 27 at Crimson Stadium. Lakeville North, Stillwater and Totino-Grace gave the young Crimson a good test heading into their week one game against cross-district rival Osseo.

Senior quarterback Brad Davison (4) is one of five starters returning on the offensive side of the ball. The third year starter has had a strong fall camp.

Senior Ryan Hanscome (80) will lead the Crimson running game. Hanscome looked strong in the scrimmage giving the offense balance.

Senior wide receiver Teddy Raasch couldn't come up with the football in the end zone against Stillwater, but the big target has become Davison's go-to receiver early in the season.

Hanscome runs for tough yards against Lakeville North.
