The Osseo Senior High School
Orioles welcomed back 12 athletic stars on Friday, Sept. 23 and inducted them into the Hall of Fame.
The new inductees are pictured below with Osseo Senior High Activities Director Bill Quan during halftime of the Osseo v. Totino Grace football game.
graduated in 1964 and ran cross country and track. Aften is the former school record holder in cross country and mile run at Osseo High School. graduated in 1976 and ran track and cross Country. Clark is the current Osseo High school record holder in the mile run at 4:11 and was the 1976 Minnesota high school champion in the mile run. graduated in 1988. Droegemueller was a two-time state champion in wrestling. He finished with a career record of 150-9-3 at Osseo. Awards include 1985 Academic All-American,1988 High School All-American, 1988 Osseo Male Athlete of the Year and 1988 All-Conference in soccer. (Photo by: Doug Erlien)
graduated in 1986 and was a two-time state wrestling champion in 1985 and 1986 and placed third place in state in 1984 and second in state in 1983. He finished with a career record of 159-10-2. Jessica Fiebelkorn Kerr
graduated in 1989 and starred in basketball and volleyball. Jessica was a four year letter winner in basketball and a three year letter winner in volleyball. She was All-Conference in both sports numerous times and was a captain in both sports. Jessica was the Star and Tribune Metro Volleyball Player of the Year in 1988. graduated in 1962 was a three sport athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball. He earned a record eleven varsity letters while at Osseo - three in football, three in basketball, and five in baseball. He was All-Conference and All-State in football, leading scorer and All-Conference in basketball and named to the Post newspaper All Star team. In baseball, he was also named All-Conference. graduated in 1973. Huss was a three-time All Conference and was a two-time All-State player.He ranks number one in career blocked shots, season blocked shots, season rebounds and second in career rebounds. graduated in 1957 and starred in football and basketball. Leadens was a two-time All-Conference in basketball and set the single season scoring record in 1957. graduated in 1987 and starred football and hockey. Chad was All- Conference, All-State and honorable mention All-American in football at Osseo. graduated in 1959 and starred in basketball as well as being instrumental in the Osseo girls basketball program. Steig lettered in four sports at Osseo and was captain and All-Conference in basketball and baseball. He still holds the Osseo record for single game rebounds at 28. He was selected to the North Hennepin Post All Star basketball team. Steig returned to Osseo after college to teach and coach basketball and football. graduated in 1976 and played football and baseball. Price was a team captain in three sports and an All-Conference performer in football and baseball. He was an All-State football player his senior year and played in the All-State football game. In his senior year, Price competed in the regional track meet after his baseball season ended and he won the long jump title to advance to the state meet. Heather Anderson (not pictured) graduated in 1996 and starred in track and cross country. Anderson is the current Osseo High School record holder in 1600 and 3200 meters. She was state champion in the 1996 1600 meter run and an Osseo High Athena Award winner for outstanding athlete.
