Weekend Westbound I-94 Lane Closures at New Highway 610 Crossing

Travelers driving on westbound I-94 in the Maple Grove area may encounter delays, starting the evening of Friday, Oct. 7 and continuing through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10.
Road work on the new eastbound Highway 610 bridge crossing I-94 in Maple Grove “will require lane closures on the westbound interstate between 95th Avenue and Highway 101 throughout the weekend,” according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
A single, westbound lane will be closed starting at 7 p.m. Friday. Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, the interstate will be restricted to a single lane. Until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, the westbound instate will continue as a single lane.
Eastbound I-94 is not anticipated to be impacted.

“Please drive carefully past the construction crews and watch for equipment and workers moving in and out of the construction zone,” Minnesota Department of Transportation stated.
