Election 2016: Osseo School District School Board Election Results

Editor's note: The election results are considered unofficial until canvassed. 

In the 2016 general election on Nov. 8, three ISD 279 - Osseo Area Schools School Board seats were up for election. 

According to the unofficial, non-canvassed 2016 election results on the Minnesota Secretary of State website, Mike Ostaffe received 18,307 votes (14.57 percent), Heather Douglass received 16,828 votes (13.39 percent), and Stephanie Fortner received 14,451 votes (11.5 percent) received the most from all of the 57 precincts.

The breakdown is as follows:
Mike Ostaffe - 18,307 votes (14.57 percent)
Heather Douglass - 16,828 votes (13.39 percent)
Stephanie Fortner - 14,451 votes (11.5 percent)
Meghan Curtis - 14,181 votes (11.28 percent)
Jesse Winkler - 12,778 votes (10.17 percent)
Jacki L. Girtz - 10,596 votes (8.43 percent)
Linda J. Etim - 10,516 votes (8.37 percent)
Pa Ann - 10,239 votes (8.15 percent)
Pachia Vue - 8,959 votes (7.13 percent)
Carey Raph - 8,121 votes (6.46 percent) 

The Osseo School Board is scheduled to canvass and officially declare the results at a special meeting 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Osseo Area Schools Educational Service Center.
