Maple Grove Fire Department Incident Report - October 2016

The Maple Grove Fire Department responded to more than 60 calls during the month of October 2016.
Here is a synopsis of a few of the incidents responded to by the Maple Grove Fire Department:
-Report of a barbecue grill fire on the 11400 block of 100th Place North Oct. 3.
-Two report of passenger vehicle fires near Maple Grove Parkway on I-94 Oct. 7.
-Near Elm Creek Boulevard and County Road 81, the Maple Grove Fire Department assisted with the extrication of victim(s) from vehicle Oct. 12.
-A report of an electrical fire (ceiling electrical cord) at Costco Wholesale, located at 11300 block of Fountains Drive North, Oct. 16. It was determined the fire extinguished by employees using a fire extinguisher and the sprinkler had not been activation.
-Report of a passenger vehicle fire on the 10700 block of 100th Avenue North Oct. 19.
-Report of a passenger vehicle fire near County Road 81 and Zachary Lane North Oct. 21.
There were five reports of an unauthorized burning, three burnt food reports, five reports of a strange odor/smell, and two gas leak reports.
