Maple Grove Police Crime Prevention Officer Receives Award

Maple Grove Police Department Crime Prevention Officer Todd Strege was recently awarded the 2016 Minnesota Crime Prevention Association's Practitioner of the Year.
Strege received the award during the annual Minnesota Crime Prevention Association conference in October. Among his accomplishments recognized, according to the Maple Grove Police Department Facebook page, were “orchestrating our National Night Out events, enhancing our Neighborhood Watch Program, spearheading the 2015 Shop with a Cop event, and organizing numerous crime prevention activities.”
Strege was nominated by Maple Grove Police Sergeant Dan Wilson.
