With the upcoming new year, the Maple Grove Arts Center is planning on once again having a physical building presence in the the community.

“We were on Main Street for eight years. When we closed, people were lost -- often calling and wondering when we are reopening,” CEO/Founder Lorrie Link said. After the closing, it “forced us to reevaluate."

In January 2017, the Maple Grove Arts Center will once again open - this time, at a new space at The Fountains at Arbor Lakes (near Wedding Day Diamonds).

“It’s a good space,” Link said, stating the new location will have 100 more square feet, including multiple classrooms. “It can allow us to run multiple classes at the same time. A redesigned art boutique will be in a separate area without disturbing classes."

The Maple Grove Arts Center provides opportunities through education (classes and camps), an artist's gallery, a Fine Arts Boutique, coordinates the Business of Art program, sponsors/coordinates a variety of events throughout the community, and more. A 501c nonprofit, the Maple Grove Arts Center has been in the community since 2009.
