ISD 279 Receives More Than $40,000 in December Donations

As part of the Dec. 13 ISD 279 School Board regular meeting, the board accepted several donations made to schools. 

Some of the donations contributed to Maple Grove school, according to a document provided to the School Board, included the following:

$916.77 donation by Lifetouch to Cedar Island Elementary for supplies and staff appreciation.

$157 ISD 279 School Board Television Generation, Inc. for Cedar Island substitute teacher costs for teacher to attend “Fuel Up to Play” training camp.

$9,051.61 by Cedar Island PTO for Cedar Island Elementary staff support, supplies, conference childcare.

$178.99 by Elm Creek PTO  for Elm Creek Elementary media supplies and building bulletin board.

$315 by YourCause Corporate Giving and $1,107.40 by Wells Fargo Matching Gifts Program at the discretion of the Fernbrook Elementary principal for students and staff.

$482.80 by The Benevity Community Impact Fund / United Health and $1,009.64  by Wells Fargo Community Support and Wells Fargo Matching Gifts Program for Rush Creek Elementary ESP support.

$105 by Wells Fargo Matching Gifts Program to be used at the discretion of the principal at Maple Grove Middle School for staff and students.

Donation of 600 Styrofoam meat trays by Cub Foods Maple Grove for Maple Grove Middle School 6th grade clay project. 

$672.68 by Wells Fargo Community Support Campaign to be used at the discretion of the principal at Osseo Middle School for staff and students.

$2,000 by Louis and Mary Kay Smith Family Foundation for a multi-cultural vocal music for a World Music Program at Osseo Senior High School.

$500 by Tolomatics / Amy Toles for Osseo Senior High School robotics program equipment and registrations.
