Elm Creek Elementary Students Participate in Great Kindness Challenge

Elementary students in ISD 279 - Osseo Area Schools continue to share kindness this school year, including the Elm Creek Elementary taking part in the Great Kindness Challenge in January. 

The Great Kindness Challenge is an initative by nonprofit organization Kids for Peace and focuses on positive acts and proactive bullying prevention

Throughout the week of Jan. 23, Elm Creek Elementary students took part in a variety of kind activities, including a kindness-themed artwork contest, working together to decorate their classroom’s door, and a check lists to encourage kindness acts such as“smile at 25 people,”  and “help someone up if they fall down,” according to Osseo Area Schools. 

The Great Kindness Challenge is a national movement which started in 2012 and includes more than 12,000 schools.
