When longtime Maple Grove resident Steve Edwards decided to leave a 16-year job as a retail store manager, he had yet to determine his path.
“I just wanted to do something on my own,” he said. After researching franchise opportunities and working with a consultant, CertaPro Painters resonated with him.
“This was the right one for me,” he recalled.
As a result, Edwards has now owned CertaPro Painters of Northwest Metro in Maple Grove since 2013.
“What drew me in was the problem-solving aspect,” he said, such as helping and working with community members to decide on colors, products to use, techniques and more for their interior and exterior painting projects.
