School Burglary, Drone Disturbance, Shoplifting: MGPD Incident Report

16000 block of County Road 30. Report of customer being disruptive inside business. Officers arrived as person was leaving, instructed not to return.
7000 block of Magda Drive. Report of an unconscious person laying in snow. On arrival officers brought person inside of residence, person was conscious, but intoxicated, transported to hospital.
7700 block of Main Street. Report of person looking into several vehicles in area. Officers arrived and did not locate suspects, no vehicles broken into.
11000 block of 95th Avenue. Report of business window broken and items stolen from inside. Crime lab responded to process scene and investigations following up on case for possible suspects.
11000 block of 95th Avenue. Report of attempted trailer theft with tongue jack bent. No suspects at this time.
10000 block of 101st Place. Report of person unconscious; officers provided oxygen until medics arrived for transport to hospital.
10000 Pilgrim Lane. Report of person who had fallen; on arrival party refused to let officers in.
16000 block of 96th Avenue. Report of intoxicated party inside business being disruptive, officers contacted individual who was waiting for taxi and party told to wait outside business.
8400 block of Forestview Lane. Report of lock popped out of side door of vehicle and several tools stolen from inside. No suspects at this time.
12000 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of person taking items and running out of business entering a waiting vehicle. Officers did not locate vehicle.
83rd Way and Weaver Lake Road. Officer made traffic stop on vehicle with dark tinted windows, driver arrested for narcotics.
7000 block of Hemlock Lane. Janitor reported suspect dressed in black with mask inside school. Officers formed perimeter but could not locate suspect. Case being followed up on. According to the Maple Grove Police Department Facebook page (January 30), police are seeking the assistance from the community in identifying the individual pictured (left, graphic provided by MGPD). Additional information about two other school burglary incidents (Dec. 21 at Osseo Middle and High School) included loss of cash, gift cards, and medications. As of Jan. 30, police were asking community members to contact Detective Smith at 763-391-8504 or Detective Hoeke at 763-315-7650 if they have more information.
11000 block of Fountains Drive . Report of same person from several store thefts concealing items and leaving without paying. Officers identified suspect and investigations following up on case.
7000 block of Ranchview Lane. Neighbor’s dogs found loose in area and upon arriving at residence to take dog back, front door standing wide open and nobody answering. Officers checked residence finding nothing suspicious. Dog put inside and door secured.
8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of child left inside running vehicle in front of business. Officers made contact with parent and advised of danger leaving child unattended inside vehicle.
7200 block of Forestview Lane. Officers responded to a second call to the same location for party’s being loud; they were advised.
9300 block of Garland Lane. Report of unlocked vehicle parked overnight in driveway gone through and several items stolen from inside; no suspects at this time.
11000 block of 80th Avenue. Report of argument being heard in area. Officers learned siblings arguing over a vehicle. Officer cleared.
11000 block of Fountains Way. Report of tires damaged to vehicle parked in business parking lot; officers following up on possible suspect.
9000 block of Maple Grove Parkway. Report of drone being flown around neighborhood. Officers located party on top of transit ramp and advised of complaint. Individual left the area.
9000 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of vehicle window smashed out in parking lot of business. Officers learned nothing taken from vehicle.
Vicksburg Lane and Fish Lake Road. Report of person slumped over steering wheel inside vehicle and unresponsive. Officers learned party was diabetic and assisted paramedics in loading party into ambulance for transport.
During this time period there were 26 property damage traffic accidents and two property damage injury traffic accidents.
