The following synopsis of incidents occurred in Maple Grove Feb. 5-11, 2017, as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Feb. 5

12000 block of Elm Creek Blvd. Report of person that had been assaulted inside business. Officers arrived, interviewed parties who did not want to file charges.

13000 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of party passing counterfeit currency at business. Party left before officers arrived. Officer following up on suspect vehicle.

8600 block of Valley Forge Lane. Report of two vehicles with broken windows and items stolen from inside while parked at business. No suspects at this time.

13000 block of 96th Place. Report of person falling down a flight of stairs. Officers arrived and assisted medics to transport person to hospital.

Feb. 6

16000 block of 101st Ave. Report of copper wire being stolen from residence. No suspects at this time.

8700 block of Fish Lake Road. Report of child stuck in baby swing. Because of cold weather, chains cut so they could go inside where the fire department cut the swing off child. No injuries.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of person concealing items and leaving business without paying. Suspect arrested for theft.

7000 block of Inland Lane. Homeowner out walking dog sees vehicle back into their driveway. Made contact with party selling meat out of van. Officers could not locate vehicle.

Feb. 7
11000 block of 73rd Avenue. Report of person filling tank full of gas and driving off without paying. No suspects at this time.

8200 block of Revel Wood Place. Report of outgoing mail stolen from mailbox and later recovered in stolen vehicle where a party was arrested. Ongoing investigation.

16000 block of County Road 30. Report of window being smashed out of vehicle parked in business parking lot and items stolen from inside. No suspects at this time.

Feb. 8

13000 block of Weaver Lake Road. Report of displayed glass stolen from inside store and suspect left in vehicle. Officers following up for charges.

12000 block of 97th Ave. Report of suspicious vehicle parked in front of resident’s house. Officers made contact with the same parties selling meat. Informed about solicitor ordinance again, and would be arrested for another complaint.

Feb. 9

10000 block of County Road 81. Report of gate chain cut and lock on trailer cut. Several tools stolen. No suspects at this time.

12000 block of 82nd Place. Reported that a group of people were pounding on a residence like they were trying to get in. On arrival officers made contact with group who were at their friends house and eventually were let in.

Feb. 10

7800 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report by bank employees there to open. Occupied vehicle in parking lot. Officers made contact with parties who were waiting for bank to open.

Feb. 11

8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of two suspects that had stolen property from business last week. Were in business concealing items. Officers made contact with three suspects in a vehicle leaving parking lot and arrested all three for felony theft.

13000 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of person filling tank with gas and leaving without paying. Officer following up with registered owner of vehicle.
