resolution for a Planned United Development Concept Stage Plan proposal to redevelop the existing Wild Bill’s site was approved by the Maple Grove City Council at the March 6 meeting.

EC North, LLC, the applicant for the project, submitted theplan to redevelop the property located at 12730 Elm Creek Boulevard, from Wild Bills Sports Saloon to a 4,068 square foot walk-up bank with a drive-thru ATM (identified as Bank of America) and a 7,029 square foot sit down restaurant (identified as Crave).

The concept plan, according to documents provided to the City Council at a previous meeting, includes two public plaza areas with covered connection between as well as “…outdoor seating for the restaurant in the plaza areas” and “exploring the possibility of a rooftop patio.”

Plans for the proposed new Crave restaurant indicate it would be larger in size (7,029 square feet) than the existing Wild Bill’s site (5,537 square feet). “The intent for Wild Bill’s is to move, but we do not have a specific date,” Maple Grove Community Development Director Dick Edwards said.

It would be the 12th location for Crave.

The proposed bank, Bank of America, is planned to be a “full-service bank” with approximately 15 employees.

The project could begin in the spring, according to Dean Dovolis of DJ Architecture at the Feb. 21 Council meeting.
