The finishing touches to the Highway 610 project are planned to continue through early June, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Lane restrictions and ramp closures on the three-mile stretch of Highway 610 roadway between Elm Creek Boulevard and I-94 is anticipated to occur to “complete guardrail installation, landscaping and some additional concrete work this spring,” MnDOT stated in an email statement April 27.

Highway 610 was down to a single lane in each direction Thursday morning.

Several ramps are anticipated to be closed as well:

  • Westbound County Road 81 and westbound Highway 610
  • Eastbound Highway 610 to eastbound County Road 81

The restrictions and closures are expected to reopen late Thursday, June 8.
