Adding to the growing number of businesses in northern Maple Grove,
Park Nicollet Clinic—Maple Grove Rehabilitation Services opened its doors for patients in December 2016.
The clinic, at 15301 Grove Circle North, has nearly 40 employees on staff at the 17,000 square foot facility.
In addition to traditional therapy, the clinic has several unique areas within the building to enhance rehabilitation and help with recovery.
Included in the sports gym space, according to Physical Therapy Manager Eileen Worrell, is a 70-foot throwing range which enables therapists to use high-speed video recording for joint movement analysis.
"For most any sport, we can use the space to replicate the movement," she said, stating it might help to determine if a particular movement is causing the problem.
Private Pilates Studio
The private Pilates studio, which includes three reformers, are not only used during some stages of rehabilitation as part of patient's care - but potentially afterward as well. For people who would like to continue with private classes following their recovery, the option is available. Classes are taught by physical therapists who are trained and certified in Pilates.
Other highlights at the clinic include a designed pediatric space and treatment options such as dry needling, blood flow restriction training, and wound care.
"Chances are, whatever you have going on, we cover it," Worrell said.
