The Maple Grove Senior High School Girls Lacrosse team had their season come to an end following a pair of losses at the MSHSL State Lacrosse tournament.

After a strong start in the quarterfinal round against Prior Lake, the Lakers rattled off seven first half goals en route to a 16-6 victory June 13. Freshman Jersey Beranek opened the scoring at 19:55 of the first period. Sophomore Emily Herdine scored five goals in the Crimson loss.

After the loss, the Crimson headed to the consolation bracket and faced Cretin-Derham Hall June 15. The game was never in doubt as the Raiders scored eight straight goals to begin the game and ran away with a 17-9 win.

Maple Grove finished the season 13-5 and advanced to the state tournament for the second year in a row.
