Business, organizations, and more will compete against one another during the Maple Grove Days 10th Annual Maple Grove Rotary Bed Race to benefit local nonprofit organization, CROSS Services

Those interested in participating in the bed race at 7 p.m. July 15 are invited register to race against other teams on Main Street.

Racers are judged on time, creativity, team spirit and most pledges raised. Businesses, churches, neighborhoods, individuals and civic organizations have been creative and unique in their previous designs. By sponsoring this event, the Rotary’s mission is to encourage and foster service in the community.

Entries are now being sought for bed race teams of five people (four people pushing the bed and one person riding). The application and entry fee of $150 per team can be submitted by July 1. After July 1, the fee is $170.  All entry funds collected will be donated to CROSS Services to provide beds, bedding, and other needs for CROSS clients in Maple Grove and northwest suburbs. Bed racers are encouraged to collect pledges as well.

For entry forms, waivers, and more information:

CROSS serves families and individuals living in Maple Grove, Osseo, west Champlin, Corcoran, Dayton, and Rogers.
