On the Patio: Great Location Makes 3 Squares a Destination Patio in Maple Grove

Jul 06, 2017 07:25PM ● By Doug Erlien
When talking about the best patios in Maple Grove, you have to make a stop at 3 Squares.

Sure, they have won awards for their amazing breakfast or happy hours, but not taking in the patio and you can't call your visit complete.

"One of my favorite things about Maple Grove is that they take such good care of everything," 3 Squares General Manager Heather Johnson said. "You look out and everything is green and luscious and the landscaping is always fresh and new. I think it makes it a nice destination place."

3 Squares is constantly giving back to the community. From their constant giving to local schools and organizations, it's the staff, 11 of which has been at the restaurant since the beginning, that makes the difference.

"The best thing about us is we are a community based restaurant. Our guests are a part of our family," Johnson said. "It brings a connection where we know the guests by name and they know their families and situations. It's not just a customer to us."

Pet Friendly Patio
Pets are always welcome on the patio at 3 Squares. Doggy bowls and biscuits add to the destination factor the whole family can enjoy.

"To be able to open our patio to people who their dogs are part of their family makes that makes it an extra awesome destination," Johnson said. "It's hard to leave your pet at home when you've been gone all week at work."

Family Friendly
A kiddie menu where food arrives on trays like school and a toy box that makes any wait not as long, 3-Squares provides the perfect pit stop for a day of fun in Maple Grove.

"How can you not want to sit out here on a beautiful day," Johnson said. "It's so incredible that Maple Grove does all the things they do to take care of their city - with the Town Green and Central Park, it brings a lot of families."

What's Hot
According to Johnson, the features are always popular and changing every two weeks. Fish Tacos and Cheese Curds are never a bad option.

On the beverage side, McKenzie's blackberry cider or a local craft beer are popular options for adults. Three Happy Hour options are always on tap every day.
