Maple Grove Student Receives TruStone Financial Scholarship

Mathison was one of nine Twin Cities graduates to receive the scholarship, which was based on academic merit, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and completion of a financial management essay question.
Other graduates receiving the scholarships were: Katherine Baker from Rogers High School, Alan Bates from Champlin Park High School, Alyssa Gits from Apple Valley High School, Celeste Hofstede from Coon Rapids High School, Matthew Kasar from Oak Creek High School, Jack Piazza from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, Caely Tietz from Eden Prairie High School, and Harmony Zweber-Langer from Lakeville South High School.
“The TruStone Financial Foundation was created nearly a decade ago to financially educate and support our future leaders,” Chairman of the TruStone Financial Foundation Steve Bohlig said. “This year the Foundation selected nine scholarship winners out of an applicant pool of young men and women with incredible determination and dedication to their future. On behalf of the board of directors, I want to wish all of our college bound students good luck as they pursue their dreams.”Mathison will be attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in the fall.
