Maple Grove Rotary Scheduled Speakers for August

The Rotary Club of Maple Grove is has lined up several speakers who will present at their meetings during the month of August.
The Maple Grove Rotary Club meets at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday mornings at 3 Squares in Maple Grove. The meetings end promptly at 8 a.m. Guests are welcome.
August 1 - Amy Mahowald, Assistant
Director of the Minnesota office of the Lawyer’s Professional Responsibility
Board, will kick off one of a series of Maple Grove Rotary discussions about
how various professional organizations handle ethical matters.
August 8 - Rotary Club members Jim Betzold and Doug Galka will discuss the STRIVE program for mentoring high school students and how it works.
August 15 - Maple Grove High School Principal Bart Becker will discuss the racial graffiti incident that occurred at the school and ethical issues that school leaders are faced with.
August 22 - Blogger and Rotarian Joy Becker, who has written about the Jacob Wetterling case, will share her thoughts about what we can learn from the incident.
