The Maple Grove Trustone Financial Federal Credit Union and Mortgage Lending Services branch teamed up the LynLake and Rogers branches to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children and Adopt-A-Highway during CU Forward Day.

The group, along with other branches throughout the rest of Minnesota and Wisconsin, volunteered more than 1,500 hours of service on Oct. 9 as part of CU Forward Day, a Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) initiative to ‘spread kindness throughout Minnesota communities’.

“Our focus has always been on serving our members and our communities,” TruStone Financial CEO Tim Bosiacki said. “However, dedicating an entire day to service allowed us to focus our efforts and deliver a larger impact in the communities we call home.”

Nearly 375 employees from TruStone Financial and Mortgage Lending Services volunteered at 20 different nonprofit organizations.
