Heritage Christian Academy Boys Cross Country Team Advances to State

For the first time in school history, the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles boys cross country team has qualified for the state meet to take place Saturday, Nov. 4 at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

Led by sophomores Travis Miller, Jared Nordstrom’s finish of 17:10 (6th and 8th place), the Eagles edged out Annandale and St. Cloud Cathedral to take 2nd place and qualify for the state meet.

Miller and Nordstrom qualified for the individual state meet.

Rolf Preus – 18:16
Matthew Thomforde – 18:22

For the Eagles girls team, senior Taylor Lundquist qualified for the state meet with a time of 20:01.
