Vehicle Fires, Unauthorized Burning, Power Line Down: MGFD October Incident Report

Throughout the month of October 2017, the Maple Grove Fire Department responded to 76 incident calls.

Here is a synopsis of a few of the incidents:

Oct. 5

11800 block of Fountains Way. Removal of victim(s) from stalled elevator.

Oct. 8

3500 block of Ranier Lane North, Plymouth. Building fire.

Oct. 12

Eastbound I-94 & Maple Grove Parkway. Excessive heat, scorch burns with no ignition.

Westbound I-94 & Highway 610. Passenger vehicle fire.

73rd Avenue North and Hemlock Lane North. Passenger vehicle fire.

Oct. 13

6400 block of County Road 101. Burnt food.

Oct. 14

Highway 610 & Eastbound I-94. Passenger vehicle fire.

Oct. 17

14600 block of 80th Avenue North. Burnt food.

Oct. 19

Jefferson Highway and 83rd Avenue. Power line down.

Oct. 20

15400 block of 101st Avenue North. Grass fire.

Oct. 21

6200 block of Upland Lane North. Overheated motor.

Oct. 23

Bass Lake Road and southbound I-494. Motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Oct. 25

6200 block of Empire Lane North. Unauthorized burning - no permit.

9400 block of Revere Lane North. Unauthorized burning - no permit.

Oct. 26

13300 block of 70th Place North. Burnt food.
