Students at Maple Grove Senior High opened their 2017 fall theater performance with "The Pajama Game" musical on Nov. 9.

"We are so excited to be tackling a classic musical comedy this year for Maple Grove Senior's fall musical. While it was written in 1954, the themes of worker's rights for a livable wage and the complexity of life at the workplace are still constant topics in today's world," Director Nikki Swoboda said. "Add an incredible jazz score played robustly by our all-student pit and the antics of these lovable characters, and I think you'll find a nostalgic and fun night at the theatre that transcends generations."

"The Pajama Game" productions continue 7 p.m. Nov. 10, 11, 16, and 17. The Saturday, Nov. 18 is sold out. The performances take place at the Maple Grove Senior High School Auditorium, 9800 Fernbrook Ln N.

Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors 65 and older. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the performance.
