Thefts, Dog Rescue, Burglary: Maple Grove Police Incident Report

6500 block of Glacier Lane. Report of items stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in driveway overnight. No suspects.
16000 block of 77th Circle. Report of vehicle damage to mailbox pole, vehicle not located.
11900 block of 73rd Avenue. Individual pumped gas into vehicle and drove off without paying. Officer contacted vehicle owner, who went back and paid for gas.
10700 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of suspicious occupied vehicle parked in between two work trucks at business, officers made contact with individuals just talking.
9300 block of Garland Lane. Report of delivered package stolen from doorstep. No suspects.
9500 block of Blackoaks Lane. Report of wallet stolen out of employee’s purse in employee area of business. No suspects.
I-94 and Weaver Lake Road. Officer observed vehicle make several driving infractions. Officer stopped vehicle and driver was arrested for DWI.
12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of suspect taking several items and leaving the business without paying. Officer located suspect, who was arrested for the theft.
Bass Lake Road and I-494. Report of person standing on bridge holding large black item extended through fencing. Officers arrived did not locate anyone in area.
I-94 and Maple Grove Parkway. Report of vehicle weaving in and out of traffic, children in backseat were not wearing seatbelts. Officer located vehicle, driver cited driver for no restraints.
12000 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of empty vehicle that struck retaining wall with both airbags deployed. Officers located individual walking who was arrested for DWI.
12000 block of 63rd Place. Unlocked vehicle in driveway gone through and garage opener used to go through vehicle in garage. Items stolen, no suspects.
11000 block of 84th Place. Report of items stolen out of unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight. No suspects at this time.
8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of suspects filling basket with clothes, leaving business without paying. Officers did not locate vehicle suspects left in.
7300 block of Xene Lane. Cards containing currency were stolen out of mailbox overnight. No suspects.
12000 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Suspect filled container with hot deli items, left store without paying. When confronted, gave food back and left in vehicle. Officers did not locate vehicle.
11000 block of Fountains Drive. Suspect tried on a pair of boots assisted by employee and walked out of store wearing them. Officers did not locate suspect vehicle.
15000 block of Grove Circle. Suspect put items in cart and walked out without paying. Suspect under investigation for several other thefts.
14100 block of Territorial Road. Report of vehicle parked on roadway, two people walked to a construction area, returned with bag, officer stopped vehicle and found parties had permission to get squash out of field.
18800 block of 97th Place. Report of dog stuck in a pond for over 30 minutes. Officer arrived and used catch pole to reach the dog and pulled it in to shore. Dog taken to vet.
9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Two suspects distracting an employee and another suspect stealing a cell phone and leaving without paying. Case is under investigation.
9600 block of 106th Place. Homeowners arrived back from vacation and found window smashed out of vehicle parked in driveway; no suspects.
18000 block of 69th Place. Report of van driving suspiciously in area, footprints in snow by vehicles in neighborhood. Officers did not locate suspect.
8900 block of Zanzibar Lane. Report of four males walking through backyards. Officers located footprints, but did not locate suspects.
9400 block of Hemlock Lane. Report of cell phone stolen from locker at business. No suspects.
7000 block of Queensland Lane. Report of footprints leading to several cars in the neighborhood. No suspects.
During this time period there were 16 property damage traffic accidents and two property damage injury traffic accidents.
