Scoreboard: Maple Grove, Osseo Girls Pick up Wins in Basketball

Girls Basketball:
The 
Maple Grove Crimson upped their record to 4-1 on the season with a 61-52 victory over Champlin Park. Autumn Mlinar led the way for the Crimson with 17 points while Jordyn Lamker added 14 and Katrina Theis added 12.

The Crimson travel to Andover Friday night to face the Huskies.

Osseo picked up their first win of the season after defeating Blaine 51-43. Jaiden Kline led all scorers with 15 points. Anna Corona added 11 points for the Orioles.

Osseo will host Elk River on Friday night at 7 p.m.

Girls Hockey:
Mannon McMahon scored midway through the third period to tie the game between Elk River and Maple Grove. Eventually the contest moved to overtime where the Elks netted the game winner, defeating the Crimson 2-1.

Next up for Maple Grove, a trip to Eden Prairie to face the Eagles.

Osseo/Park Center fell 3-2 to Spring Lake Park on Tuesday night. OPC picked up a pair of first period goals from Charley Sawicky and Olivia Fredrickson to take a 2-1 lead, but the Panthers scored twice to take the victory. OPC, 2-6 will face Irondale on Saturday, December 16.
