At the Feb. 5 meeting, the Maple Grove City Council approved a Planned Unit Development Concept Stage Plan resolution for a request to develop a four-story, 114,400 square foot indoor self-storage building.

The site, located at 13000 63rd Ave. N. on approximately 1.7-acres, is “proposed to be created by dividing off an unused portion of the property upon which the former ‘Group Health’ facility and other successive occupants have resided,” according to a memo provided to the City Council. “The building location is south of the existing Extended Stay America hotel.”

Being an indoor storage facility, customers would drive-in to load and unload items during the hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
