Osseo Area Schools Closed April 16 Due Weather, Road Conditions

A weekend winter storm from April 13-15, 2018 dropped between 10-22 inches of snow throughout the Maple Grove area, according to the National Weather Service - Twin Cities

As a result, schools throughout the community announced closures and late starts on Monday, April 16 citing road conditions and continuing weather conditions. 

Osseo Area Schools announced the following
"Due to the weather and road conditions, school will be canceled on Monday, April 16; all after-school/evening activities are canceled as well. School will resume as usual on Tuesday, April 17."

Parnassus Preparatory School and Ave Maria Academy also announced closures April 16. Heritage Christian Academy decided to stay open, but with a late start at 9:30 a.m. 

The forecast for Monday, according to the National Weather Service - Twin Cities, includes a "chance of flurries" before 9 a.m. and "mostly cloudy, with a high near 36."
