The St. Cloud State University women's basketball program recently announced the addition of forward of Maple Grove Senior High student Katrina Theis to its incoming class for the upcoming 2018-19 school year.

A three-time letter winner for the Crimson, Theis earned Northwest Suburban All-Conference honors during her senior and junior seasons.  She was her team's leading rebounder over the past two seasons and ranked second at Maple Grove in scoring in 2016-17 and 2017-18.  Theis scored 462 points during her senior season.

"Katrina (Theis) is an extremely athletic forward, who has the ability to get to the basket and post up," SCSU head coach Lori Fish said.  "Her strength and versatility allow her to defend multiple positions on the floor and rebound the ball extremely well. We are very excited to have Katrina join our Huskies Family!"
