Weather permitting, Hennepin County is scheduled to start cracksealing County Road 101 from 83rd Avenue North in the Corcoran/Maple Grove area to the bridge over I-94 in the Dayton/Rogers area starting Monday, May 7.
Hennepin County estimates the project should take approximately one week to be completed.
Weather permitting, this work should take roughly one week to complete.
"This work will be completed under traffic. This means that lanes will be restricted throughout the corridor, but no closure is expected. During this work, road users should expect delays and periodic changes in lane configurations" Hennepin County stated in a press release.
"With the changing season and weather, the heating and freezing of the pavement makes the road expand and contract. This can lead to cracks in the road. County crews seal these cracks to keep water from getting under the pavement. This helps to extend the longevity of the roadway."
