Bridge maintenance crews are scheduled to inspect the 93rd Avenue Bridge (County Road 30) over Elm Creek in Maple Grove Tuesday, June 26, according to Hennepin County.
The inspection is planned (weather permitting) between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and last two to three hours.
"Typically done every one to two years as part of federal guidelines, bridge inspections allow our engineers and technicians to thoroughly examine the bridge to determine if preventative maintenance work is needed," Hennepin County stated in a press release.

During the inspection, crews will use trucks to examine the side and underneath of the bridge. Drivers could experience "short-term single lane closures" and walkers could see sidewalk closures.
"We will keep at least one lane for each direction of traffic and one side of the sidewalks open at all times," Hennepin County stated in a press release.
