Unauthorized Burning, Burnt Food, Gas Leak: MGFD June Incident Report

The following is a synopsis of incidents responded to by the Maple Grove Fire Department for June 2018.
8300 block of Rice Lake Road. Strange odor/smell.
8200 block of Urbandale Lane North. Unauthorized burning of leaves and brush.
6200 block Eagle Lake Drive. Building fire. On arrival found smoke and flames on the exterior of the building. Gained entry to upper level, checked for extension inside and in the attic. Found no extension into building, but heavy smoke. Ventilated interior and overhauled exterior.
6900 block of Wedgewood Road North. Smoke or odor removal.
12100 block of 70th Avenue North. Unauthorized burning - no permit.
8655 I-94 Gas leak.
14900 Bass Lake Road. Dumpster or other outside trash receptacle fire.
11800 block of 80th Avenue North. Carbon monoxide incident.
11800 block of Fountains Way. Cooking fire, confined to container. On arrival found water flow strobe and horn sounding. According to manager they were cleaning off the grease around the stove and hood with heat from the stove. Grease caught on fire which set off ansel system, which put out the fire.
12900 block of 83rd Avenue North. Medical assist, assist EMS crew.
10200 block of 94th Avenue North. Carbon monoxide incident.
7700 block Main Street North. Smoke scare, odor of smoke.
11300 block of Yates Avenue North, Champlin. Building fire.
8100 block of Wedgewood Lane North. Water or steam leak.
7600 block of West Fish Lake Road. Chemical spill or leak.
9200 block of Queensland Lane North. Burnt food.
9600 block of 98th Place North. Gasoline or other flammable liquid spill. Dispatched to fuel spill in driveway from car. Arrived to gas line leaking along frame rail.
11600 95th Avenue North. Smoke scare, odor of smoke.
7400 block of Berkshire Way North. Gas leak.
13500 block of Grove Drive. Gasoline or other flammable liquid spill.
7300 block of Rosewood Lane North. Burnt food.
12500 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Smoke detector activation, no fire – unintentional. Called to a possible extrication. While enroute notified no extrication, needed for traffic control and cleanup.
108300 block of Zopfi WayEast. Unauthorized burning. Encountered heavy smoke in the vicinity of Elm Creek round about. Saw heavy smoke plume generated from recreational burn pit with smell of burning plastic. Met upon arrival by homeowner who first claimed to be burning pallets, then admitted burning plastic insulation from salvaged copper wire. Homeowner reminded it is not allowed in recreational fires.
