Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opened its first restaurant in Maple Grove on Tuesday, Aug. 7, complete with a ribbon cutting.

More than 700 people lined up for the opening of the new restaurant, waiting since 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The dignitaries from the city of Maple Grove along with the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce and Raising Cane's leadership team joined together before the opening for a ribbon cutting.

The Maple Grove location, at 9875 Maple Grove Parkway, is the seventh Raising Cane’s in Minnesota. The 3,819-square foot restaurant with a drive-thru is located in The Grove development (near Maple Grove Parkway).

The hours of operation at Maple Grove’s new Raising Cane’s are Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Raising Cane's, founded in Baton Rouge, LA by Todd Graves, is a fast food restaurant with a menu focused primarily on chicken finger meals.
