For the last 15 years, Lisa Peterson has called Maple Grove her home.
A connection to the community and a passion for photography has led her launching her new pet photography business - Pawsh Pet Photography.
“I’ve been taking photographs since before the album Purple Rain and loving on animals since I was a babbling babe,” Peterson said. “I live here. This is my home, my community, my peeps. I believe in the power of community and connection. Utilizing my skills to photograph pets is one way I can give back to my community."
She operates her studio out of her Maple Grove, using it for pet portraits as well as a mobile studio - traveling throughout the Maple Grove and Twin Cities to capture pet pictures in the parks.
“Customers can expect a personalized experience. We do everything with passion, joy and creativity. We’re as passionate about pets as we are about creative photography. We are never sure who has more fun during our portrait sessions – us or the pets,” Peterson said.
From handmade frames to artisan prints to albums, Pawsh Pet Photography creates art designed specifically for its clients.
“We love to collaborate with our clients to capture what is unique about their pet,” Peterson said.
