A new restaurant, Rock Elm Tavern, opened its doors in Maple Grove Sept. 17 according to their Facebook page.

The restaurant is located at 15641 Grove Circle North (between the hospital and Target) in The Grove.

"We are loving the success of Rock Elm in Plymouth and the response from the community has been wonderful. We just thought, 'why not keep a great thing going?' This part of Maple Grove does not have many full service restaurants and we are confident the residents of Maple Grove will happily welcome our community-based concept with great food and an awesome beer selection," Rock Elm Tavern co-owner Troy Reding said in an interview with Maple Grove Voice earlier in 2018, who owns several restaurants with his Brad Sorenson.

The menu features "guest favorites from Rock Elm Plymouth and our other concept, Holman's Table in St. Paul," according to Reding. "Of course, burgers will be at the forefront, along with quality cocktails, a selection of great wines, and many local draft beers."

The business has a staff of approximately 50 employees.

The Rock Elm Tavern hours, according to their website, are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
