Trustone Financial Credit Union securely shredded more than 35,000 pounds of confidential documents for its members at three Twin Cities shred events this spring - including 19,000 pounds at their Maple Grove location in April.
“The secure destruction of financial documents is one of the easiest things people can do to avoid identity theft,” Senior Vice President and Director of Minnesota Branches at TruStone Financial Lisamarie Meyer said. “Our members are very grateful for this service and look forward to it every year.”
TruStone Financial hosts shred events at its Minnesota and Wisconsin branches every spring and fall.
The next shred events will take place in September.
